This song was written and released in collaboration with my soul sister and mama friend, Venetia. Caught in the transitory edge between waking and sleeping, she had a vision of this song. Through a number of voice notes and then in person meetups, this song came into being. It connects to that deep song, that wild part that lives within all of us— the “heartbeat of the earth”.

“a place to call home” is filled with countless stories. From memories of growing up, to falling in love and becoming a mother. It honors lineage and those who have shaped me. Many different places and people are hidden within its layers. Streaming now on all platforms.
